Three items of Royal armorial Wedgwood creamware
each piece painted and gilt to the centre with the Royal Arms of England as born by H.R.H. The Duke of Clarence, later King William IV, within the mottoed garter and collars suspending the Badges of the Orders of the Garter, The Thistle and The Bath, the lion and unicorn supporters standing on a pink ribbon inscribed with the motto NEC TEMERE NEC TIMIDE, the border with a lobed dark-blue band edged with gilt pendant ornament beneath a gilt rim, comprising: an oval serving-dish; a soup-dish; and a plate, impressed marks, the serving dish -- 14 3/8in. (36.5cm.) wide, circa 1821
