A Copeland Spode shouldered oviform jug with Wyvern handle painted in shades of iron-red and gilt with arched panels of stylised flowers on a ground of diaper and geometric pattern panels, the shoulder with spiraling panels painted with flower heads, the upper section with similar ornament, the neck moulded with a band of bosses, printed mark, circa 1885 -- 14 7/8in. high
