The following consignment presents the opportunity to purchase pristine cases of fine claret, many from the wonderful 1989 vintage. All of the cases in this consignment were bought on release and have sat untouched in the consignor's temperature controlled private home cellar since. As you read through the consignment you'll see that the conditions are fantastic-a testament to the importance of perfect storage and provenance. All of the wines here were removed from the cellar for this sale, the first time they have moved in 20 years.
1994 LAFITE
Similar to the 1961 vintage, the 1994 Lafite's final blend is almost all Cabernet Sauvignon. This provides the wine with the structure and tannins to allow for decades of enjoyment. This offering for a pristine case of the 1994 offers the best value for the Lafite lover and perhaps some for the grandchildren as well.
