ONE OF THE GREAT SWISS CHRONICLES. This is the second edition, much expanded from the first edition of 1548 also published by Froschauer. Apart from Switzerland, the work contains a general description of Europe, Germany and France. The 5 double-page maps are of Europe, Germany, France and the 'Eydgnoschaft'. Cf. Brunet V, 572 (1548 edition).
