FIRST EDITION OF THIS COMPLETE SET OF THE PORTRAITS HANGING IN THE ZURICH STADTBIBLIOTHEK. Johann Caspar Füssli (1706-1782), the Zurich artist, drew copies of the portraits, and then sent them to his former pupil Walch who, together with the Nuremberg engraver V.D. Preissler (1717-1765), executed and published the plates. Lipperheide I, 921.
