NIGHTINGALE, Florence (1820-1910). Two autograph letters signed ('Florence Nightingale' and 'F.') to Mrs Watts and an unidentified recipient ('My dear'), Park Lane and n.p., 5 October 1887 and n.d., the first informing Mrs Watts that as Mr Jowett has been confined to his bed by the doctor he cannot come to see her, 'I have not asked Mr Jowett to let me say this. For he is a very bad Patient!'; the second asking to use a friend's carriage to send some parcels, adding 'And if you come in it then I shall have the pleasure of seeing you', together 4½ pages, 8vo.
