CHURCHILL, Winston S. Three typed letters signed ('Winston S. Churchill') to Curtis Brown, Chartwell, 11 Downing Street and Treasury Chambers, 11 October 1926 - 10 December 1927, discussing dates for serial and volume publication [of The World Crisis, vol.III], querying the charges for the printer's corrections ('I am very much surprised at the item of £131.9.3 for preparing maps for the printer. I should certainly have been told that charges of this kind were being incurred'), and regarding a volume of memoirs ('I certainly have no recollection of having made such a promise ... I therefore must consider myself perfectly free'), 3 pages, 4to, stamped by recipient; with a related account. (3)
