"Since we didn't succeed in mooring up next to the shelf-Ice due to the strong Ice at Sea, we had to discharge our equipment on the sea ice and then transport it on snowmobiles for about 20km up onto the shelf-ice. During the discharging, when the ship was next to the edge of the ice, a small group of Emperor Penguins were calmly watching what was going on."
