While it is perfectly possible these lions are strictly Italian in both design and manufacture, they are reminiscent of many of the grand portals and interior architecture of Prague, and could have been carved by Italian sculptors working in Bohemia. This large community of Italian architects and craftsmen was almost entirely responsible for the construction of Baroque Prague -- still so evident to the modern visitor today.
