The combination of grotesque masks, lion's paw feet and gadrooned frieze of this impressive table is also seen on a table from the Bardini Collection, attributed to Rome, illustrated in W. Odom, A History of Italian Furniture, New York, 1966, vol. I, p. 160, fig. 143.
