AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON
POSSIBLY RHODIAN, CIRCA LATE 6TH-EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the cylindrical body with a rounded bottom, rounded shoulders, a short cylindrical neck and horizontal disk rim, with an opaque white marvered thread wound spirally around the neck and body, tooled into a festoon pattern along the body, a yellow marvered thread wound spirally around the neck, white trail on the rim, the twin vertical ring handles with long tails
