AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS UNGUENTARIUM
SYRO-PALESTINIAN, CIRCA 2ND-MID 1ST CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the ovoid body with rounded shoulders, a long tapering cylindrical neck and disk rim, on a pad base, with opaque turquoise and yellow marvered threads wound spirally from the rim along the neck and body, tooled into a festoon pattern on the neck and a feather pattern on the body
