LATE HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C.
The hollow hoop rounded on the exterior and interior, expanding to the broad shoulders, the circular bezel set with a flat stone engraved with a bearded satyr moving to the right, depicted nude, his musculature well defined, an animal skin draped over his bent right arm, a fileted thyrsus in his left hand, on a short groundline
1 1/8 in. (2.9 cm.) wide; ring size 8½
