Reconverted from percussion, with rebrowned twist sighted barrels respectively signed 'WOGDON & BARTON' and 'LONDON' (signatures worn) towards the breeches and each inlaid with a single gold line at the breech, gold-lined touch-holes, grooved tang engraved with foliage and a sunburst, flat bevelled locks each signed 'WOGDON & BARTON' and with raised gold-lined pan, stepped tail and roller (signatures refreshed), figured walnut half-stock with raised cheek-piece and chequered grip, engraved iron mounts retaining traces of original blued finish, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, and later horn-tipped ramrod with worm, London proof marks (no view marks) and barrelsmith's mark of Robert Wogdon, in an associated relined and refitted mahogany case with some accessories including a Sykes Patent shot-belt and a Frith Patent powder-flask, the exterior with flush-fitting brass carrying-handle and rectangular brass escutcheon engraved 'W. REYNARD' (case locks missing)
