With heavy swamped twist octagonal sighted barrel with silver-inlaid foliage at the breech and muzzle, chiselled rear-sight with silver-inlaid decoration, engraved tang, lock with silver-inlaid foliate decoration, well figured Circassian walnut three-quarter stock profusely decorated with inlaid brass roundels and dots, ivory inlays flanking the barrel-tang and on the butt, the latter inlaid with green-stained horn bands, the underside of the butt with aperture for trap (hinged trap-cover missing), ivory button to the base of the butt, ivory barrel-bolt escutcheons (barrel-bolt missing), silver barrel-bands decorated in low relief with scrollwork, ivory fore-end cap, and later ramrod (some discolouration to barrel and lock)
