With bright barrel, tang and flat bevelled lock, the latter border engraved and with 'GR' cypher and marked 'DUBLIN CASTLE' on the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, brass mounts including trigger-guard marked '18 LD H 55', and iron stirrup ramrod (iron parts cleaned bright with some pitting, stirrup ramrod probably a post-1807 working modification), worn Ordnance proof marks
