BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each ovoid, one with the pale turquoise body painted with polychrome strapwork and stylised foliate motifs with gilt outlines and enclosing light blue shaped panels with pale yellow rose buds emanating from top aperture, another centring a yellow and pale green cypher of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna beneath the Imperial crown, the sides painted with yellow, pale green and dark brown rosettes, on cream ground and bounded by pale green leaves suspending from a triangular-shaped strapwork, both unmarked
