"A legacy from the widow of the former head of the negociant Patriarche, this parcel from the Les Froichots section of Clos de la Roche located at the southern end of the vineyard on the best part of the slope that was purchased by the hospices in 1991. The 2005 was very elegant, with a well articulated fruit character on the nose and a bit of funky complexity, as well as a razor-like purity to the structure on the palate." CC, October 2008
