oviform box, the bleu-céleste lobed borders edged in gilding suspending swags of pink roses, red and blue flowers, the top and bottom with a gilt flowerhead on a bleu-céleste medallion, with hinged bright-cut gold mount and pierced grille engraved with flowers and scrolling foliage, the top with loop finial, with a later silk-lined leather case
