oval box, the hinged cover, base and sides enamelled in opaque sky-blue, the cover and base centred by an oval reserve of translucent dark-blue enamel on a concentric scalework ground applied with musical and gardening trophies in two-colour gold, the sides divided by four oval reserves similarly decorated and with applied laurel swags, translucent blue enamel ribbon-twist borders
