rectangular box, the hinged cover and base engine-turned and framed by bands of stylized acanthus, the interior with two compartments, one with similarly decorated hinged cover, the other containing a brush with a gold handle, a mirror at the inside of the lid, the borders of the sides chased in two-coloured gold with rosettes and garlands and at the base with a rope-twist motif
