Château Pichon-Longueville, Baron--Vintage 1989
Pauillac, 2me cru classé
Excellent appearance. Levels into neck
Tasting note: Excellent potential in cask and, in its 20th year, its obvious components, opaque, fleshy, much commended. Two very recent notes: still impressively deep; spicy, chocolate nose; almost speciously soft, sweet, rich, fleshy. Last tasted Feb 2005 ***(*) Now-2015 M.B.
