Three-quarter plate gilt-finished lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band, gold cuvette, tinted enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer calibrated 1/5th seconds ring, two sunken subsidiary dials for 60 minute register and constant seconds, plain circular case, push button for chronograph in the band, five knuckle joint, swivel bow, dial and movement signed, case and cuvette stamped with casemaker's initials FT and London date letter for 1907

Accompanied by an original J. W. Benson red leather fitted presentaton box.

It is interesting to note that the present lot was sold at Christie's in London April 25th, 1991 where the watch has remained in a private collection.
