Three-quarter plate gilt-finished lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, diamond endstone, raised barrel, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, two sunken subsidiary dials for 60 minute register and constant seconds, plain circular case, three knuckle joint, split-seconds chronograph operated through two buttons in the band, case stamped A.S. for Alfred Stram and with London date letter for 1909, dial numbered, movement signed and numbered

Lot Essay

Accompanied by a National Physical Laboratory Test Report, first issued December 2, 1892, and reissued September 21, 1995. Further accompanied by copies of the Kew Register of Watches Received and Dispatched, and an Abstract of the Results where the watch was tested between October 17th until November 30th 1892, gaining an "A" certificate with a mark of 75.5
