Three-quarter plate gilt-finished ratchet tooth lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, Nielson one minute tourbillon carriage, glazed dust cover, tinted enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer calibrated 1/5th seconds rings, two large subsidiary dials for 60 minute register and constant seconds, monogramed circular case, chronograph button in the band, hinged case back with monogram and 5 knuckle joint, dial and movement signed and numbered, case stamped with casemaker's initials FT London for Fred Thomas and London date letter for 1905

Accompanied by copies of the Kew Register of Watches Received and Dispatched, and an Abstract of the Results where the watch was tested 6 times between August 1st 1906 and finally on January 14th 1908 gaining an "A" especially good certificate with a mark of 85.3 which was extremely difficult for a multi complicated watch to achieve.

The present watch is inscribed with the family crest of the Fleetwood Hesketh Family with the family motto quod tibi hoc altieri.
