拍品專文

Previously attributed to Philippe de Marlier, this painting belongs to a corpus of beautifully executed still-life paintings that are currently anonymous. It would seem that the artist of this group of still-lives was active in the workshop of Frans Francken II in Antwerp. We are grateful to Fred Meijer, of the RKD, The Hague, for his thoughts on this painting.
