Composé de divers panneaux de soie multicolore à décor tissé de grues et nuages, deux d'entre eux avec des dragons, ces derniers encadrant au début la formule officielle Fengtian Gaoming ('Par Commande du Ciel'), puis suit un long texte en chinois terminé par la date exacte (1845) et le nom de l'Empereur rehaussés d'un cachet, le même texte étant repris en mandchou par la suite, monté en rouleau sur papier ; usures et trous de vers

Lot Essay

This is imperial edict is dated to the 15th day of the 10th month in the 25th year of Daoguang year (1845). It is addressed to the parents of Jing Ebu, the Jilin General. The edict granted the position of first rank Zhenwei General to Jing Ebu's father and the title of first-rank lady to his mother.
