MARK OF KS (CYRILLIC), MOSCOW, 1908/17
Cover chased in relief with a bogatyr looking on at a blacksmith working on his anvil, Cyrillic inscription translates as I am forging my destiny, as to whom I should marry, replies the blacksmith; also an American silver card case with profuse floral chasing centred by initials, circa 1895; and a George III silver snuff box by William Pugh, Birmingham, 1809, with bright-engraved leafy bands and later inscribed Guy Bryan
