Qianlong (1736-1795)
Decorated to the central roundel with 'antiquities' laid out in a garden with a pine-tree and flowering peony, the rim circled with a composite border, comprising: a tureen and cover with two boar's head handles and a crown-shaped finial, 30 cm. wide; a similar tureen and cover, 26 cm. wide; a pair of sauce-boats, 20 cm. wide; a set of three large serving dishes, 34.5 cm. diam.; and a set of fourteen soup-plates, some frits, chips and hairline cracks (21)
