Three Chinese ginger jars and a Canton famille rose dish
18th and 19th Century
Comprising a blue and white ginger jar and wood cover, painted with panels of 'antiquities' on a 'cracked ice' and prunus ground, 22.5 cm. high; a blue and white ginger jar decorated to the rounded sides with the 'Three Friends of Winter', pine, prunus and bamboo, 18.5 cm. high; a famille rose ginger jar and wood cover, decorated with a phoenix amongst flowering peony, 20.5 cm. high; and a Canton famille rose green-ground dish decorated with scattered flowers, butterflies and insects, 37.7 cm. diam.. some frits and minor cracks, baking flaw (4)
