Three German enamel boxes and covers and an ivory pill-box
Late 18th 19th Century
Comprising a rectangular copper-mounted box and cover painted with a crowned monogram R, surrounded by names and dates within laurel garlands, 8.5 cm. wide; an oblong octagonal copper-mounted box and cover decorated with the bust of and inscribed M.T. Cicero, the base with the bust of and inscribed HORATIUS, 8.5 cm. wide; a rectangular copper-mounted box and cover painted with three putti, 6.5 cm. wide; and an ivory circular pill-box, the cover with painted female portrait, 6.5 cm. diam., some damage (4)
