A pair of German Royal silver armorial plates, a Royal coffee-and tea- service and a candlestick
The plates Berlin, 1842-43, stamped 'Hossauer' and '15 Loethe' ; the coffee- and tea-service with mark of Christoph Conrad Siebrecht, mid 19th Century; the candlestick stamped 'Hott' and marked '13' under crown, 19th Century
The plates with shaped shell- and scroll rim, applied with a crowned coat-of-arms inscribed Honi soit qui mal y pense under shell, 26 cm. diam., marked on bases; the coffee-and tea-service each on bracket feet and applied to the body with a crowned monogram, the cover with crown finials, the handles with ivory rings, comprising a coffee-pot and cover, 18 cm. high; a teapot and cover, 14 cm. high; a milk-jug, 12 cm. high; a two-handled sugar-bowl, 11 cm. high; a toast-rack, 18 cm. high; and a candlestick on stand, 8 cm. high
