The fold-over top strung with ebonised and boxwood lines and with brass-moulded edge, opening to reveal a green baize writing surface and five small drawers with similar stringing and ivory handles, the front edge of the top and brass-inlaid frieze also folding outwards to reveal a sliding folio tray, the legs panelled and brass-strung
