The present firescreen was a bespoke commission from master iron-worker James Horrobin for Kay Saatchi's Sussex Street London address.
Having lived and worked predominantly in the West Country, Horrobin has undertaken a number of distinguished public and private commissions including gates for the Metalwork Gallery at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London; lanterns for the Portico of St. Paul's Chapel, Broadway, New York; and The Churchill Memorial Screen, St. Paul's Cathedral, London. Horrobin is a member of BABA (British Artist Blacksmiths Association) and holds the Silver Medal of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths.
