with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced snout, black horizontally stitched nose, remains of black stitched mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed shaped limbs, hump and button in ear --12in. (30.5cm.) tall, circa 1908 (somersault mechanism inoperative, small split and repair to snout, pads recovered, small split to left upper arm exposing metal joint, wear to arms, chest, upper legs, heels and tips of feet)
