the former of shaped oblong form, on ball feet and with two moulded pen rests and an applied gadroon, shell and acorn and oak leaf border, fitted with two moulded circular cut glass inkwells with gadrooned covers and with a central taperstick - 9¼in. (23.50cm.), the beaded cylindrical biscuit barrel with integral tray on claw and ball feet, engraved with friezes of stylised foliage and with a domed hinged cover with beaded compressed baluster finial - 8½in.
