In three parts, the cornice carved with egg-and-dart, guilloche and palmettes, the gadrooned doors centred by flowerheads and bordered by dot-and-line panels, the two-part chest below with a drop-fronted upper left secretaire drawer fitted with pigeon holes and a leather writing surface, the sides each with three iron carrying handles
