Beautiful, ruby-red colour; nose shows youthful Pinot Noir fruit, with notes of meat and gameyness. Palate is richly structured, full-fruited, with firm tannins, including new oak still perceptible on the finish. Has potential, not yet mature. Ttasted April 2009. Anthony Hanson MW
