The flared circular pierced basket supported by three white biscuit female sphinxes with gilt wings and tails, each on a gilt square base and mounted on a circular drum base, the blue-ground top embellished with a leafy garland and the circumference tooled with foliate garlands pendant from ribboned circular medallions alternating with vases and emblems of war, raised on three pairs of gilt paw feet, minute chipping to paw feet, slight wear to gilding
