The circular top with bois de bout floral marquetry, on four cabriole legs headed by foliate clasps running to sabots, joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher centred by a foliate finial, the underside with retailer's plaque 'J. TUCKER & SON KENSINGTON H.'

Although apparently unsigned this guéridon is characteristic of variants made by François Linke under Index Number 146 (see C. Payne, François Linke, 1855-1946 - The Belle Epoque of French Furniture, Woodbridge, 2003, p. 57, pl. 47).
