After the bronze model by Eugen Börmel, from a set emblematic of the Elements, the first with a scantily-draped winged nymph and mer-baby holding conch shells to their ears, seated about a gilt palm column issuing an ormolu six-light candelabra, the branches moulded as fronds issuing bulrushes, on a rococo scroll white and gilt base moulded with waves, shells, fish and frogs and applied with bouquets of garden flowers and ferns, the second similarly modelled with a winged nymph and companion putto seated about a central gilt tree-trunk column issuing a branch-moulded ormolu six-light candelabra with leaf-moulded drip-pans, above doves and a similar flower-encrusted rococo scroll base, some areas of restoration
