SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Of architectural form, the central pediment above glazed doors with a lotus leaf and paterae carved dividing rail, flanked by projecting side sections, the doors with horizontal glazing bars, the lower section with central quarter veneered twin cupboard doors, one side enclosing three ash lined drawers, the other with adjustable shelves, the side doors enclosing adjustable shelving, on plinth base
93½ in. (237.5 cm.) high; 111 in. (282 cm wide); 23¼ in. (59 cm.) deep
Provenance
Acquired by the present owner's Grandfather, Andrew Gray, who was the chief engineer for the Marconi Company, responsible for laying cables between the United Kingdom and the United States.
