Tibet or Northeastern India, 13th century
Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base with her pendant foot resting on a diminutive lotus blossom, her right hand in varadamudra and her left holding a lotus stem, clad in striated robes falling over one shoulder and adorned with a festooned belt and beaded garland, the face with full lips and heavy-lidded eyes surmounted by a diadem
