Depicting three ladies with sandalwood paste smeared on their foreheads and holding golden vessels for their morning ablutions making offerings to a Shivalingam beneath two tree, set on a box with lotuses and covered by a clay vessel in a stand, with rivers in the fore- and backgrounds, a diminutive Nandi looking up at the lingam and two saris discarded at the base of the tree, the deep orange of the morning sky visible thorugh the branches
Opaque pigments on wasli heightened with silver and gold
