Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, her hands in varada- and vitarkamudras and holding the stems of lotuses blossoming at the shoulders, dressed in a dhoti with the folds elegantly spilling over the base and adorned with beaded jewelry and various sashes, the face with bow-shaped mouth, heavy-lidded eyes, and gently arching brows, surmounted by a jeweled tiara with the hair in a high chignon, the base sealed with a double-vajra
