The case surmounted by an eagle and flanked by lions, the brass dial with white enamel chapterring and automaton depicting two putti in a smithy, supported by four alabaster columns in front of a mirrored back, raised on serpentine plinth and bun feet, the triple-barrel movement with anchor escapement striking on two gongs, with sunburst pendulum
