The case of typical form with foliate and acanthus mounts and overall brass-inlaid with scrolling foliate motifs, the repousse gilt-metal dial inset with white enamel numeral cartouches, with blued-steele hands, the triple barrel movement with anchor escapement, countwheel strike, striking on two bells, the backplate signed J.Jacques Porte Paris, the wall bracket conformingly decorated; doorkey, winding key and pendulum
