A single cylinder horizontal mill engine, with cylinder 1¾in. bore x 3in. stroke with centrally mounted valve chest, pedestal mounted bar-type crosshead guide, barrelled connecting rod, three main bearings and spoked flywheel (lubricator added later), finished in green and polished brightwork and mounted on wood -- 11½ x 24in.
