A model Stuart No 1 vertical reversing stationary engine built to exhibition standard by G.B. Houghton and H. Gibbons with blued steel clad cylinder 2in. bore x 2in. stroke, inlet and exhaust pipes with flanged joints and main stop, displacement lubricator, draincocks and fine pipework, lever and quadrant operated Stephenson's link reverse with solid links, studded stuffing box, marine type big end lubricator, main bearing and eccentric lubricators, eccentric driven mechanical lubricator and pipework, flywheel and cast bed, finished in green, black and polished brightwork and mounted on a mahogany plinth -- 15¾ x 11½in.
