FIRST EDITION. Troubles in Texas began when the government of Coahuila y Tejas announced the ratification of the Zacatecas plan, in opposition to Santa Anna's Plan of Zavaleta. VERAMENDI. Gobierno Supremo del Estado de Coahuila y Tejas. El Vice-gobernador... a todos sus habitants... [sobre] el plan acordado en la hacienda de Zavaleta. Leona Vicario, 4 February 1833. Broadside (308 x 212 mm).
FIRST EDITION of this decree on the adoption of the Zavaleta Plan by Santa Anna. New elections are called for, and ten articles contain instructions for officials in the elections. The voters brought Santa Anna into power, but the election of senators, deputies and a president for Texas did not appease the independent spirit.
